There are over 15,000 people on the waiting list for needed services, according to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Many individuals with I/DD could potentially wait 15-20 years before their needs are met. With numbers like these, you can begin to understand that connecting with an organization such as ours is filling a much needed gap in the lives of these individuals, their families and making a difference.

Their special loved ones need structure, routine and assistance to learn to become independent as soon as their disability is diagnosed…They need help from the very beginning of their journey.

Families caring for Children & Adults with developmental disabilities are often searching for direction and support as they look for ways to assist their special loved one and family; from childhood, into adulthood, and beyond.

Through His Grace, families connect to seasoned families gaining knowledge from parents who have been where they are. They share information that assist families as they navigate the special needs community. Examples of things communicated are...Specialty Areas: Dentists, Therapists, Doctors, Educators, Organizations that can assist with specific needs, and so much more. Seasoned Parents can also offer insight on different ways to structure their homes, set routines and provide guidance where needed.

Our Support Groups

Our Support Group brings “seasoned”

parents alongside parents with newly

diagnosed or younger children. Families gather to share information on raising

children with special needs.

This is a great opportunity for families to interact with other families caring for disabled loved ones.

We occasionally offer workshops to help

Parents on their

educational journey.

Hello Friends!

If you are a Natural Support Caregiver (Unpaid, Nonprofessional) and are looking to attach to a group that will walk this journey with you, pray for you, build each other up through bible study, fellowship and understand the challenges and victories of caregivers, this group is for you. This includes ALL Natural Support caregivers… Parents caring for disabled children, Children caring for Parents/Grandparents, Spouse caring for Spouse, Siblings caring for siblings... Anyone that is meeting the need of a loved one, you are welcome to join us.

Join us on Sunday, February 8th as we begin a short, but inspirational study on

...✨ Made To Move Mountains 🌄 ✨ ...

Here is a brief excerpt of what to expect from this study ...

Mountain climbers call the area above 26,247 feet on Mount Everest the “death zone,” because thin air makes people weak and prone to fatal mistakes. Though most of us never plan to scale Everest, we understand the struggle to breathe, think clearly, and find the will to conquer life’s toughest obstacles.

What kind of path are you on in life? What is the view behind you, and what does the road ahead look like? Likely, there’s a mountain or two in sight.

What kind of mountain are you facing? Is it a crazy, afraid-to-say-it-aloud, God-sized dream? Or are you staring down an uncertain, scary obstacle that showed up on your path and you don’t even know where to begin?

Journey with us as we learn more about this topic ...
